Available Positions:  Pediatric Physical Therapist 

The Meyer Center currently has two openings for licensed Pediatric Physical therapists.  One is a  full time position (8 hours per day Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday).  The other is a part time position of 25 hours over 5 days (length of each day can be flexible).  Both positions are 44 weeks per year, as the Center is closed for four weeks off during the summer, two weeks at Christmas, one week at spring break and several other individual holidays off during the year.  Both positions come with a generous benefits package which includes Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance, dental and vision insurance, retirement benefits, and 13 days paid leave time.

General Information 

Teaching positions at the Meyer Center require a degree in elementary education with specialization in special education and a valid state teaching certificate.  Therapy positions require a degree and certification appropriate to each discipline.  Positions at the Meyer Center are advertised in the Greenville News and posted on this website.

Internship Opportunities

Therapy and Classroom Observation

Opportunities for students enrolled in speech, physical or occupational therapy programs to carry out classroom or therapy observation requirements are available on a space-available basis.  Students are requested to make arrangements no less than one week prior to the date requested for observation.  To arrange a therapy or classroom observation, call the Center at (864) 250-0005 and leave a message for the Therapy Director or Education Director, as applicable.
