During its history, the Meyer Center has occupied several locations in Greenville. In April 1997, the Center moved to a new facility on Rutherford Road in Greenville, the first to be designed to meet the needs of our children, teachers, and therapists. The expanded facility contains six attractive, child-friendly and well-equipped classrooms, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy areas, a parent/teacher resource library, administrative offices, a meeting room, and storage rooms for specialized equipment needed by our students. A well-equipped playground is located adjacent to the Center.

Due to tremendous growth over the past ten years, in 2006 the Center began a capital campaign to raise $4.5 million to fund for the purchase of our building on Rutherford Road and a phased 25,000 square foot expansion of our facilities.  Thanks to many generous donors throughout the Upstate, this campaign has been successful!   Purchase of the building was completed in August 2007 and and the phased renovation of 5800 square feet of additional therapy areas, new classrooms and administrative areas is now underway.

Complete information on the campaign may be found under Funding on this site.  For addditional information, contact Barbara Martin, Development Director, 250-0005, Ext. 208.
