Meyer Center was accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2005. The purpose of the NAEYC is to improve the quality of care and early childhood education. This is accomplished by developing training resources; providing public information about the importance of high-quality early childhood programs; and accrediting programs that voluntarily demonstrate substantial compliance with the NAEYC’s Criteria. Programs accredited by NAEYC achieve professional and public recognition as providers of high-quality care and education for young children.
